NORWOOD--Mary Boyd Franks Daggett, 74, Savannah, Tenn., formerly of Norwood, died Wednesday at Hardin County General Hospital, Savannah.

Mrs. Daggett was a homemaker.

Born June 9, 1929, in Savannah, Tenn., daughter of Boyd Cherry and Annie Mae Abrams Franks, she graduated from high school in Savannah.

She married George William Daggett on April 30, 1950, in Boonville, Miss. Mr. Daggett, a chef at the 284 Club, Massena, Treadway Inn, Canton, Century House, Norwood, and Vinnie’s in Stockholm died Jan. 25, 1990.

Surviving are five daughters, Brenda LaPage, Wanda Robidoux, Debbie Daggett, Ramona Daggett and Sharon Vari, all of Norwood; three sons, Boyd and Larry, both of Canton, and David, Norwood, eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 3 p.m. today at Shackelford Funeral Home, Savannah. Burial will be in Sunny Hill Cemetery, Savannah.
