Warren Belcher, 32, of Mohawk Street, died on Sunday, January 1, 2012. He was born on August 21, 1979 in Schenectady. He was a graduate of Shenendehowa High School, Class of 1997. Warren was employed at Water-works Pub in Albany as their bar manager. He was an active man with a great desire for adventure. He loved to hike, run and play volleyball. An avid reader, Warren also was known for his friendly, quick wit and his tremendous sense of humor. He was the beloved son of Thomas Warren and Monica Lois (Riffon) Belcher, II of Clifton Park; cherished grandson of Raenelle Belcher of Princeton, W.Va., and the late Tom Belcher and the late Stephen J. and Sarah E. Riffon; loving fiance of Sarah Babcock and "stepdad" to her son, Kaleb Babcock, both of Cohoes; caring brother of Kelly D. (Bill) Belcher Carroll of Chester, N.Y. and Dana E. (Brian Genthner) Belcher of Delmar; cherished uncle of Billy Carroll. Warren is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins and many loving friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, January 5, 2012 at 9 a.m. at St. Edward the Confessor Church, 569 Clifton Park Center Road, Clifton Park. Calling hours will be on Wednesday, January 4, 2012 from 5 to 8 p.m., at the church. Interment will be in the Jonesville Cemetery, Clifton Park. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Edward the Confessor Church, 569 Clifton Park Center Road, Clifton Park, NY 12065 or to the ASPCA, c/o Linda Tiramani, 520 8th Ave., 7th Floor, New York, NY 10018. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted by the family to the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home, 1550 Route 9 Clifton Park, NY 12065.
