Our mom was born in Wiesbaden, Germany the third daughter of Henrich & Margaretha Anna Maria Weidmann Renneisen. She was married to Dallas Bybee, Ret. MSgt. As an Air Force wife they traveled throughout Europe and the United States (AL, MA, TX then FL). Dad retired from the Air Force in TX and then took a job at NASA in FL where they retired permamently in 1972. Mom worked various jobs and was involved with the Sunshine Homemakers in Mims, FL and volunteered at the Blood Bank in Titusville. Whenever a memorial service for our fallen heros and astronaut mom was sure to be there with undying respect. She was privilaged to honor our father's flag to the Astronaut Memorial. Every Christmas she would bake cookies and cakes for her local firefighters.

In 2004 mom relocated due to health issues to Stuart Nursing & Restorative Care Center being closer to her daughter. Mom passed quietly on Tuesday, January 3rd, 2012 at 2:15 p.m. from Alzheimer's disease.

I remember Mom telling me that during World War II in Germany her family hid American soldiers.

Survivors include her daughter, Shirley (Vic) Hill, son, Robert Bybee, granddaughters, Tina (Walt) Laskey of TN, Jennifer (Dave) Allen of NY & Jacqui (Dr. Chris) Penny of MS, great-grandchildren, Ashley & Vincenzo Caccavale, Elizabeth & Phillip Allen, nieces, Anne Kern & Monika Horst, nephews, Klaus (Karola) Kaltwasser & Bernd (Rosie) Kaltwasser, great-nieces, Jessica Kern, Jennifer & Michelle Horst, great-nephew, Matthew Horst, sisters-in-law, Alene (John) Fahsbender & Hope Hughes

Preceded in death by her husband, Dallas Don Bybee, parents, Heinrich & Margaretha Weidmann Renniesen, sisters, Anneliese Torke & Maria Kaltwasser.
