Scott Franklin Eads, 81, of 3409 5th St., died Sunday in Druid City Hospital.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. at the chapel of Hayes Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill Skinner officiating. Burial will be in the Williamson Cemetery with Hayes Chapel in charge.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Era Eads; two daughters, Mrs. Audrey Bishop of Ft. Walton Beach, Fla., and Mrs. Wanda Albritton of Northport; a son, Scott Eads Jr. of Northport; four sisters, Mrs. Vista Sullivan of Charleston, S. C., Mrs. Ludie Faulkner of Kennedy, Mrs. Nora B. Abston of Brookwood and Mrs. Cecil McCracken of Montgomery, six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Active pallbearers will be Eddie Christian, Wood Irvin George Jr., Gilbert Toxey, Tommy Hughes, Artie Shaul, Don Eads, and Dan Shinholster.
Honorary pallbearers will be Harold Williams, W.P. Thaxton, Otto Miller, E.V. Cain, Worth Hinds, Ben Pulliam, A.K.(Temo) Callahan, Kenneth Hill, Perry Turner, Allen Holland, Jerry Wayne Logan, Lester DeSiattes, employees of the Tuscaloosa County Courthouse and members of the VFW and American Legion.
