Funeral Friday morning at 9 o'clock from the Fay Funeral Home, 103 Moore St., followed by a funeral mass at the Sacred Heart Church at 10 o'clock. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday.

Roger F. Cavanaugh Sr. of 28 Riverneck Rd. died today at Ihe Lowell General hospital. He was born in Lowell, son of
the late Roger and Mary (Powers) Cavanaugh. Mr. Cavanaugh had been a communicant of the Sacred Heart church for the last 10 years and was a member of the Holy Name Society. Prior to moving to his present address he was a member of St. Patrick's parish for many years.
Before retiring he was employed at McCarthy's Market on Parker Street. He was the husband of the late Lucienne
(Achin) Cavanaugh, Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Leo
(Lucille) Robitaille of Tyngsboro and Mrs. Louis (Patricia) Capasso of Chelmsford; two sons, Roger F. Cavanaugh Jr. of Lowell and William Cavanaugh of Dracut; three brothers, John and Edward Cavanaugh of Lowell, and Daniel Cavanaugh of Lawrence; 10 grandchildren, and great grandchild.
