Colletti, George Sr.
MADISON — George Colletti Sr., age 71, of 902 Ocean Drive, died on Wednesday, June 30, 1982, at a local hospital after a long illness. Mr. Colletti was born August 31, 1910, in Madison and has been a lifelong resident. He was a member of St. James Catholic Church and the Italian Workman's Club. He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Josephine Clementi, who died in 1956. He is survived by two sons, George Jr. and John both of Madison; a daughter, Judy Colletti of Janesville; three brothers, Vince of Springer, Wisconsin; two sisters, Mary Novick and Mamie Stafford both of Madison; and six grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 2 at ST. JAMES CATHOLIC CHURCH, 1128 St. James Ct. with Father William DeBock officiating. Burial will follow at Resurrection cemetery. The family will be receiving friends on Thursday evening, July 1 at FITCH-LAWRENCE SAN FILLIPPO FUNERAL HOME, 6021 University Ave. where the rosary will be recited.
