Funeral services for Eldred Taylor ("Tat") who died unexpectedly at the Northfield City Hospital Sunday, Aug. 2, were held this afternoon, Wednesday, Aug. 5, at Holy Cross Episcopal Church in Dundas. The Rev. Karl E. Bell officiated at 2 p.m. Pallbearers were Henry Spartz, Lloyd Tupper, Leonard Jones, Milo Canedy, James Vandenheuval and William Robbie. Mr. Taylor was born on Sept. 19, 1910 the son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Taylor of Dundas. He attended the Dundas elementary schools and was graduated from the Faribault High School. He spent his entire lifetime in Dundas, with the exception of the short time he lived in Shakopee. He had been engaged in gravel hauling. He is survived by his father, Thomas Taylor of Dundas; one daughter, Carol (Mrs. Edwin Anderson) of Duluth; two sons, Gerald of St. Paul and John of St. James; and two sisters, Mrs. Jared Kaatz of Dundas and Mrs. Raymond Akeson of Chatfield. At the church service, Mrs. Francis Palan was organist and Mrs. Edward Williams and Mrs. Chet Schrader Sang.
