Robert Lank Penrose was born August 10, 1964 in Salt Lake City to Wallace K. & Clarine Penrose. He died Thursday, December 23, 2004. He married Laural LaVee Chandler on August 21, 1986 in the St. George Temple.
Robert served as an LDS Missionary in the California Ventura Mission and faithfully served many callings in the LDS Church.
He enjoyed sports, playing his violin, working on his family history website and being with his family whom he loved dearly.
He graduated from Weber State University in Computer Science and was very skilled in the Technology Industry. Robert worked for the Canopy Group, Inc. for the past 9 years.
He was a loving husband and father and we will truly miss him. Robert is survived by his loving wife, Laural; children: Ashley, Megan, Erin and Robert Chandler Penrose; parents; brothers Roger (Bonnie) , Keith; sister, Laura (Craig) Johnson of Rexburg, Idaho and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts & uncles.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 28th, 11:00 a.m. at the Westland 8th Ward, 7115 South 3200 West. Family and friends may visit Monday, 6 - 8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, and Tuesday at the church, 10 - 10:45 a.m.
Interment, Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
