Obituary, The Oklahoman, Oct 14, 1970:
--Eugene Wells Dead at 78--
Eugene S Wells, 78, former OKC attorney, died Tuesday at Mercy Hospital following an extended illness. Services will be at 2 pm Thursday at Hahn-Cook, Street & Draper Funeral Home with entombment in Rose Hill Mausoleum.

Wells, a native of Seneca KS, came to OKC in 1903. He attended the University of Oklahoma and was graduated with the University of Michigan Law School in 1913.

He was a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association, Title Lawyers Association, Sigma Alpha Epsilon social fraternity, Men's Diner Club, and the Beacon Club. He was a 50 year Mason, a World War I veteran, and a member of the American Legion. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of which he was a past trustee.

Survivors include his wife, Sue, of the home, 8113 Glenwood; a daughter, Mrs Robert Blinn, 6613 N Grand Blvd; a son, E S Wells, 1313 Brighton; a brother, Oliver Wells, 3208 NW 27 and a sister, Mrs Vivian Henshaw, 2208 NW 27.
