Nancy R. Huffman CONOVER Nancy Lorene Robinson Huffman, 78, of Conover, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2012, at Catawba Valley Medical Center. Born July 7, 1933, in Catawba County, she was preceded in death by a sister, Gladys Huffman, and a brother, Leonard Robinson. Nancy was a member of Woodlawn Baptist Church in Conover for over 40 years. She was retired from Bell South with over 30 years of service, and was currently employed with Conover School. Nancy was a member of the D&N Travel Club and volunteered at Catawba Valley Medical Center and the Corner Table in Newton.

The funeral service will be held Friday, Jan. 6, 2012, at 2 p.m. at Woodlawn Baptist Church in Conover with Dr. Ed Yount and Pastor Mike Daughtery officiating. Burial will follow in Conover City Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday, Jan. 6, from 1 until 1:45 p.m., at the church, prior to the service.
