HOMER LEE BOND, 47, of Royston, GA, died at 9 p.m. Saturday at Cobb Memorial
Hospital after a sudden illness.
Mr. Bond was a son of the late E. L. and Ada Cornelia James Bond. He was a
member of Pennington Chapel Methodist Church and was a World War II veteran. He
worked as a scale operator for L. R. Tucker Feed and Seed Company.
Survivors: Mrs. Sarah Beatenbo Bond of the home; 2 sons, Pascal Bond of Hull,
and Jerry Bond of Royston; 1 daughter, Miss Sandra Bond of the home; 1 brother,
Bud Bond of Royston; 4 sisters, Mrs. Johnny Sartain of Royston, Mrs. Elmer Rice
of Travelers Rest, SC, Mrs. C. B. Hickman of Lithonia and Mrs. R. S. Bond of
Royston; 3 grandchildren, Kim, Konda and Kathy Bond.
Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Monday at Trinity Methodist Church with Rev.
Kenneth Crossman and Rev. Jimmy Gilmer officiating. Burial will be in the
church cemetery.
