Funeral services for John Walter Freeman, 68, of Muskogee, will be held at 9:30 a.m. Friday, January 6, 2012 at Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home Chapel with Bobby Jenkins officiating. Pallbearers are J. D Turner, Fred White, Jr., Bill Gawf, Zane Codner, Mike Barnard and Keith Keplinger. Burial will be in Fort Gibson National Cemetery. John Walter Freeman was born September 1, 1943 in Barre, Vermont, the son of John and June (Hardy) Freeman and died January 4, 2012 in Muskogee. He served his country in the United States Marine Corps. He married Deborah Johnson June 24, 2011 in Muskogee. John was a member of Porter Freewill Baptist Church, also lifetime member of Chapter 7 Louis Anthis DAV, Muskogee. He was a master Plumber. Survivors include his wife, Deborah Freeman of the home; two daughters, Tina Robins and husband, Jon of Bixby, OK, Courtney Tabor and husband Danny of Wagoner, OK; two sons, John Freeman and Jeff Freeman; five sisters, Judy Scott of Checotah, OK, Jerrie Wickman of Owasso, OK, Jimmie Edwards of Tulsa, OK, Janine Clack of Owasso, OK, Julie Myers of Owasso, OK; one brother, Jay Freeman of Iowa Park, TX and three grandchildren.
