Our beloved Mother, Grandmother, Sister, and best Friend, Mary M. Simmons, age 89, Murray, Utah died January 30, 1986 after a short illness at the Cottonwood Hospital.
Mary Mair Simmons
She was born October 20, 1896, in Heber City, Utah to Alexander and Eliza Thompson Mair. Married Willis A. Simmons on July 13, 1914 in Springville, Utah. Marriage later solemized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple March 1943.
Mary and Willis lived in Heber City on a farm where their first two children (Alex and Lamar) were born. In late 1918 they moved to Park City. Willis operated a small dairy delivery business. During those years of 1919 through 1930 their children Elaine, Eliza, Luella, Elmo, Ralph and Dean were born.
In about 1930 Mary and her family moved back to Heber City where Willis worked as a dairy farmer. Their last three children were born there between 1931 through 1935.
In late 1935 the family moved once again back to Park City.
Her husband Willis died May 7, 1936.
She was a descendant of Mormon pioneers. She was a wonderful mother and friend to all who knew her. She worked hard to raise a large family after her husband's early death.

Funeral Services will be held Monday February 3rd at 11 a.m. In the Murray LDS 21st Ward 100 W. 6100 S. Friends may call at Goff Mortuary 8090 S. State St, Sunday 6-8p.m., and Monday at the church one hour prior to the services. Burial; Heber Cemetery, Heber, Utah
