Nannie Ella Whitthorne Maclin passed away on January 2, 2012 at Delta Medical Center in Memphis, TN. She was born September 18, 1915 in Milan, TN.

Mrs. Maclin was preceded in death by her husband, Lucius Maclin, Sr. and two sons, Leonard Maclin Sr. and Lucius Maclin Jr.

She is survived by six daughters: Sylester Poindexter of St. Louis, MO, Della (James) Baskerville, Zelna Jean (Joseph) Eldridge, Nan Maclin, Augustine (Ernest) Woods and Nettie Forbers of Memphis, TN, two sons: Harry (Velma) Maclin, Ray (Shelia) Maclin of Memphis, TN, two daughters-in-law: Mary Maclin and Norma Maclin; two sisters: Dorothy (Willie) Tucker and Nettie P. Mcgie; three brothers: A.D. Whitthorne of Jamaica, NY, John Timothy (Pauline) Whitthorne of Cleveland, Ohio, Cornelious (Hazel) Whitthorne of Montrose, MI., sixteen grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Visitation for Mrs. Maclin will be Friday, January 6, 2012 from 3 p.m.. until 5 p.m. at Trinity C.O.G.I.C. formerly Tuckers' Temple C.O.G.I.C. Mason, TN and also Saturday morning from 10 a.m. until 12 at Belmont C.M.E. Church in Mason, TN.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Maclin will be Saturday, January 7, 2012 at 12 Noon at Belmont C.M.E. Church.
