Death Sudden For
Prominent Farmer

Funeral rites were held Sunday morning for Samuel H. Harvey, prominent Center township farmer and stockman, who died suddenly at his home near Graysville at midnight Thursday, June 25. The services were held at 10 o'clock in the Harvey home with Rev. A. A. Blake, of Washington, officiating. Interment was in Rosemont cemetery, Rogersville.

A son of Charles T. Harvey, now deceased, and Tressa Hawkins Harvey, he was a lifelong resident of the community in which he died and was widely known. He followed farming and stock raising all his life and was quite successful in this vocation. Mr. Harvey was affiliated with the Knights of Pythias lodge, and was a member of the Baptist church.

Besides his mother he leaves his wife, Irene Carter Harvey, and the following children: Mrs. Kenneth Stewart, of Sycamore and Evaline, Josephine, Samuel, Jeanette, and Catherine Harvey, all at home. He also leaves one grandson, Kenneth Harvey Stewart; one brother, Dr. Fred Harvey, of Chicago, and four sisters, namely: Mrs. B. H. Orndorff, of Chicago; Mrs. Harland Throckmorton, of Beaver Falls; Mrs. Russell Smith, of Alberta, Canada, and Mrs. Harold Crowe, of Graysville.
