FRAMES FOR THE FUTURE Iron River centennial book 1981 on page 383 "The Camins Family" says Frank Camins was born in Hazelton, Pennsylvania in 1858 and married Elizabeth Fechter. She was born June 29 1867 and came here with her parents, early pioneers. Frank, who was a blacksmith and carriage repairman, and a daughter Mary Lewis, died in 1918. There were four other children.
Leo (listed third) was born September 2 1894 [sister Anna says born Jan 1894 - one has incorrect year] and graduated from the Pharmacy School of Marquette University. He homesteaded in South Dakota for 5 years, then returned to Iron River where he was employed at Ammermann Drug Store - later Patenaud drugstore. He opened his own business in 1912. He married Ann Brazier, who was born November 28 1884, in 1907. They had two daughters, Ruth, Mrs. O.K. Fjetland and Marge, Mrs. Robert Anderson. Leo died in August 1942, Ann April 15 1971.
