MOSS POINT --- David Miller Jr., 54, died Saturday, Feb. 8, 2003, in Pascagoula.
Mr. Miller was a coroner for Jackson County for 12 years. He was a Vietnam veteran and lived in Jackson County for most of his life.
He was preceded in death by his parents, David and Evelyn Miller Sr.
Survivors include a daughter, Dena Miller Hembree of Irvington, Ala.; a son, David Brandon Miller of Moss Point; a brother, Donald Miller of Enterprise, Ala., one sister, Delene Collins Davis of Foley, Ala., two step-brothers, Kenneth Wade of Moss Point, and James Tindle of Moss Point; and one step-sister, Linda Eldridge of Moss Point; a stepmother, Patricia Miller of Moss Point; and five grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today at Jackson County Funeral Services in Escatawpa. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Serene Memorial Gardens in Escatawpa.

David married Sharon Jeanette Anderson in Oct., 1969 in Mobile, Alabama. They had a daughter, Dena Marie (Jason) Hembree. He is the grandfather of her 3 children:
Tyler, Shaina & Brayden Hembree.
