Olin Porter was the youngest child of John Henry Porter and Laura Fannie Evers Porter. His mother died when he was only 3 years old.

OLIN PORTER
VIENNA- Mr. Olin A. Porter, 75, of 313 Old Americus Rd. died Thursday (July 19, 1990) in a local hospital.
A native of Dooly County, Mr. Porter was a retired supply clerk with Civil Service, a member of First Baptist Church in Vienna and a Mason with Pinehurst No. 473.
Survivors include his wife, Grace R. Porter of Vienna; a daughter Connie P. Christmas of Pinehurst; a brother Royce Porter of Warner Robbins; two sisters, Bert Wood of Vienna and Ethel Couch of Fort Worth, Texas, and three grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday at the First Baptist Church with the Revs. J W. Wallis and Ellis Taft officiating. Burial was held in Vienna City Cemetery.
Bowen-NeSmith Funeral Home of Vienna was in charge of arrangements.
