A son of Perry S. & Ella (Pate) Morris. He lived on a farm near Campus until he was 12 and then moved to a farm near Forrest. He married Estelo Ackerman in June 1925 at Joliet. He was one of the top bowlers in the area. He won many tournaments throughout Central Illinois.
He was a WW 1 veteran.
