HOLYOKE LADY DIES OF HEART DISEASE
Mrs. Gottfried Neuenschwander Had Lived Here Almost 20 Years
Mrs. Jennie Linder Neuenschwander, 65, wife of Gottfried Neuenschwander, died Friday of last week at the family home south of Holyoke. Death was caused by heart disease. She had been in ill health for some time.
Funeral services were held at the Holyoke Methodist Church Sunday afternoon and burial was made in the Holyoke Cemetery.
Mrs. Neuenschwander was born at Monroe, Green County, Wisconsin, January 18, 1867, and was married to Mr. Neuenschwander January 15, 1890. The family left Wisconsin in 1903, locating at Sutton, Nebraska, where they lived for ten years, coming to Holyoke in 1913. Since that time Mr. and Mrs. Neuenschwander had made their home in this community.
Mrs. Neuenschwander was confirmed and baptized in the St. John Evangelical Church at Monroe, Wisconsin and later affiliated with the Congregational Church at Sutton, Nebraska.
Besides her husband, Mrs. Neuenschwander is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Leslie Mann, Millekin, Colorado; Mrs. Louie Yost, Sutton, Nebraska; Mrs. Melvin Reynolds, Milwaukee, Wisconsin; one son, Edwin Neuenschwander, Holyoke, four grandchildren, one sister and two brothers of Sutton, Nebraska.
