ANNA JEWELL SMITH, age 78, Cynthiana, died Saturday, January 7, 2012, at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center in Lexington. Born in Stonega, Virginia, March 10, 1933, to the late Hobert and Belle Bowers, she was a homemaker. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Garnett Fryman; her second husband, Andy Smith; three brothers, Alton Bowers, Norman Bowers and Gerald Bowers and a sister, Arnetta Blevins.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at Ware Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. Tuesday. Burial will be in Battle Grove Cemetery.
