Carnesville, GA - Mrs. Luvie Cape Roach, 82, of Route 1, widow of Dennis M. Roach, died Friday (Jan 17, 1986) at Athens General Hospital, Athens.
Born in Franklin County, she was a daughter of the late Nathan and Roxie Parten Cape. She was a homemaker and a member of Riverside Baptist Church.
Surviving are daughters, Mrs. Fred (Elsie) Craig and Mrs Thomas (Frances) Cothran of Carnesville, Mrs Truitt (Cornelia) Watson of Royston; son, Abbit Roach of Carnesville; nine grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
Services at 3:30 pm Sunday at Riverside Baptist Church by the Revs. Cranford Carnes and Craig Bowman. Burial in the church Cemetery.
The body is at Pruitte Funeral Home, Royston, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday. The body will be placed in the church at 3 p.m. Sunday. The family is at the home.
