BACOME, Robert A. Age 69, of Hamilton passed away in Ft. Hamilton Hospital on Saturday, October 23, 2004 at 3:18, p.m. He was born in Lima, Ohio, on October 30, 1934, the son of William and Pearl (Gross) Bacome. Robert served in the United States Army from 1957 to 1959, was a 1953 graduated of Hamilton High School, and was employed as a manager of computer operations for Ohio Casuality for thirty-eight years, retiring in 1983. On April 30, 1955, in Hamilton, he was married to Gertrude Engler. He is survived by his wife, Gertrude "Trudy" Bacome of Hamilton; one daughter, Linda Jeanne (Joseph) Cole of Lakeland, Florida; one brother, Billy (Mary Jane) Bacome of Lima, Ohio; one sister, Mary Lou (William) Robertson of Ross; two sisters-in-law, Nancy (Vernon) Abner of Hamilton and Carolyn (Benjamin) Grinnell of Ocala, Florida; and a number of nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. A memorial service will be held at the Brown Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Thursday, October 28, 2004 at 7:00 p.m. with Fr. William Schwartz officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Interment will be held in Butler County Memorial Park.
