Katrina M. Greer age 90 formerly of Canton and more recently of Westerville, OH went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Sunday evening in Westerville Manor Care following a brief illness.
Born August 22, 1910 in Banner Elk, NC to the late John and Clara Harmon. She lived the greater part of her life in the Canton area and was a member of the Canton Baptist Temple.
Preceded in death by her husband Eldridge E. Greer on June 7, 1985; three sisters Marie Davis, Clara Deadman, Lenos Monday and five brothers James, Ronald, Orville, William E. and Homer Harmon.
Survivors include two sons and daughters in law John G. ''Gil'' and Linda Greer of Massillon, Robert E. ''Bob'' Sr. and Helen Greer of North Canton and one daughter and son in law Deanna and Harold Goulden of Westerville, OH. There are eight grandchildren Jaymie & Diane Greer, Becky and Vince Magnacca, Jeffrey Greer and Cecila Popa, Rev. Robert E. Jr. and Diane Greer, Kevin Greer, Allen Greer, Jorge Goulden, Donna Goulden and Terry Goulden, eight great grandchildren, one brother Hobert Harmon of Charlotte, NC and numerous nieces and nephews also surviving.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 1:00 PM in the chapel at Canton Baptist Temple with Revs. David Harmon and Robert E. Greer Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Hills Burial Park. Calling hours in the funeral home Wednesday from 7:00 - 9:00 PM. There will be a time of viewing one hour prior to services at the Canton Baptist Temple on Thursday from 12:00 Noon- 1:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Canton Baptist Temple.
