Elwood Dennis Castle, 60, passed away January 7, 2012. He was a longtime resident of Jacksonville. Mr. Castle proudly served in the Army, Navy, and retired from the U.S. Air Force. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Maria Depilar Castle. Survivors include his wife, Josie; children, Woody, Cynthia, Amanda, and Aaron; sisters, Patty and Susi; brothers, Sandy and Willie; he loved his grandchildren very much, as well as his beloved dog, Benzi. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 10, 2012, at Hardage-Giddens Chapel Hills Funeral Home, 850 N. St. Johns Bluff. Interment will follow at 1 p.m. in Jacksonville National Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the AdTech Ad.
