Aarine C. Scott, 26, of Columbus, GA died Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at The Medical Center. Interment will be held at Parkhill Cemetery.

Mr. Scott was born September 16, 1985 in Columbus, GA, son of Angela G. Scott of Columbus, GA and the late Sheldon C. Scott. He worked as a Library Assistant in the Reference Department at the Columbus Public Library. Some of his hobbies included: art, painting, poetry and mechanics.

Survivors other than his mother include his brother, Shevenchko G. Mahone of Atlanta, GA, sister, Shella N. Scott of Columbus, GA, paternal grandparents, William and Mary Scott of Smyrna, DE, maternal grandfather, Burke Murphy of Columbus, GA, uncle, William Jeffrey Scott of Smyrna, DE, aunt, Rachel Scott of Smyrna, DE, and several great aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends. He was also preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Cora Miller-Murphy.
