The Oklahoman, Wednesday, Oct 25, 1961:
H. F. Knebel Rites Planned--Rosary for Henry F Knebel, 86, of 539 NW 33, will be at 8 pm Thursday in Smith & Kernke Funeral Home. Mass will be offered at 9:30 am Friday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Cathedral. Entombment will be in Rose Hill Abbey. Knebel died Monday in St Vincent's Home of the Brothers of Mercy.

Born at Highland IL, Knebel moved to Oklahoma in 1900. He had lived in Oklahoma City since 1926, moving here from Guthrie. Knebel was a member of the Guthrie Chamber of Commerce, Knights of Columbus and Gibbons Dinner Club. He was in the real estate and farm loan business and was a member of Our Lady's Cathedral.

Survivors are two daughters, Mrs Lee Merry, Minneapolis MN and Mrs John F Eberle, 1724 Guilford Lane. The family prefers that friends wishing to make memorial contributions do so with donations to St Vincent's Home.
