PACK, Jesse George-65, of Shady Spring, Raleigh County died Wednesday in Beckley Veterans Hospital after a long illness.
He had lived in Raleigh County for 45 years, was a retired carpenter and veteran of World War I.

His widow. Mallie D.;
Five daughters:
1. Mrs. Nellie Hilton;
2. Mrs. Lillie Mae Burns, both of Colorado, OH;
3. Mrs. Ann Buhrman Jr. of Petersburg;
4. Mrs. Ethel Powers;
5. Miss Judy Pack, both at home;
Six sons:
1. James Pack of Ansted;
2. John Vest of St. Albans;
3. Phillip J. Vest of Oak Hill;
4. Jesse L. Pack;
5. George M. Pack, both of Shady Spring;
6. Charles M. Pack, with the Navy at Norfolk, Va
His mother, Mrs. Lou Vest Pack of White Oak:
Two sisters:
1. Mrs. Elsie Mann of Jumping Branch;
2. Mrs. Guy Basham of White Oak:
Three brothers:
1. Pearl of Streeter;
2. Alfred of Shady Spring;

Service will be conducted at 2 p. m. Friday in Melton Mortuary at Beckley by Rev. Oscar Lilly and Rev. Harold Underwood.
Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park at Beckley.
The body is at the funeral home.
