(Gendreau) Fitzgerald 89, a lifelong resident of Lowell, died Tuesday April 13 at Lowell General Hospital following a brief illness. She was the wife of th late John C. Fitzgerald. Born in Lowell on Aug. 17,1909 she was the daughter of the late Wilfred and Eveline (Ll’Heureux) Gendreau. Mus. Fitzgerald attended Lowell schools and was a communicant of the Jeanne d’Arc Church. Prior to her retirement she had been employed by the Jordan Marsh Co. at the former Lowell store. Her survivors include three son and three daughter-in-laws, Thomas F. and Collette Fitzgerald of Lowell, John C. and Sarah Fitzgerald of Valley Lee, Md. and Michael E. and Marcia Fitzgerald of Jacksonville Fla.; grandsons Timothy P. Fitzgerald of Rock Hill, S.C. and Daniel J. Fitzgerald of Londonderry N.H. four granddaughters, eight great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.”
