Edward M. Carter, 53, of 520 NW 15, died Sunday at Mercy Hospital. He was a real estate developer. He was born in Oklahoma City and was a member of St Luke's United Methodist Church. He graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 1939.
Survivors include his wife, "Dutch"; a son, Christopher and a daughter, Karen, both of the home; a sister, Mrs Ida Carter, Oklahoma City; and his mother, Mrs Charles E. Carter, OKC. Services will be 4 pm Tuesday at Smith & Kernke Funeral Home with entombment at Rose Hill Abbey.
