Alvin V. Tovar, age 49, passed away on December 8, 2011.

Alvin was a graduate of Crane High School in Crane, TX, a retired Marine Corps Gunnery Sergeant, an attendee of the Santa Fé Community College, and was employed with the New Mexico National Guard Funeral Honor Guard.

Alvin is survived by and will be greatly missed by his wife, Jessica and their children, Adreana and Jacob, his parents, Reymundo and Lydia Tovar, five sisters and their husbands, brother, numerous nieces and nephews, countless other relatives, extended family and friends.

A rosary and mass will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. on December 14, 2011, at San Isidro Catholic Church (Old Church) at 3668 Agua Fria St., Santa Fé, NM The burial will follow at 11:15 a.m. at Santa Fé National Cemetery, Santa Fé, NM.
