This burial is listed as #257 on the cemetery list, this may be a plot number also.

Samuel Richard Foster was born May 18, 1855, in Calhoun County, Alabama to Samuel Hutchinson Foster and Alsey G. (Acy) Chappell after their move from Coweta County, Georgia. He died on November 12, 1911, in Etowah County, Alabama and is buried in the Black Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, Etowah County, Alabama.
His name most often appears as Richard Foster. However, there are at least two records cited in this work that indicate his full name was Samuel Richard Foster. The name is recorded as Sam R. Foster in the 1910 Census for Etowah County, and as Samuel Richard Foster in his son Burte’s marriage license.
Richard was too young to serve in the Civil War, but old enough to observe and suffer the deprivations of it. No doubt he worked hard to fill in for the absence of his father and all missing military age males to keep the farm running and safe from the many deserters and desperate marauders. Sometime after the Civil War, he and his father would move from Calhoun County to Lookout Mountain in Etowah County.
He married Margaret N. Hooper on July 30, 1876, in Etowah County, Alabama. Her parents were Issac Hooper and Delia J. Broiles (Broyles). May he forever rest in peace. Rex Forney JrMarker 433
