Thomas "Jack" Dean, went to be with his Lord, Monday, July 10, 1989, at his home. He was born in Quanah, TX, Oct 18, 1900, the son of Thomas A. and Nora M. Dean. He moved from Quanah to Frederick, OK, in 1901.

He was a 32nd Degree Mason. He worked world-wide for Catepillar Equipment, Hoover Equipment, and Allis Chalmers. After working more than 50 years, he retired to his farm in Pink, OK, where he continued to work part-time for Kips Big Boy and Pizza Planet until 1979. In 1975 Jack married Betty VanFleet. Two years ago, Betty and Jack moved to their home in Norman, OK.

Survivors include his wife Betty, of 14 beautiful years; two sons, Gerald Jackson Dean Jr, OKC; and James (Bucky) Reed, OKC; three step-children, Carol Wakefield of Guthrie; James White, Norman; and Sherry Owens, Shawnee. He is also survived by his sister, Leona Butler, OKC; and numerous grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 13 at 10:30 am at Primrose Chapel in Norman with Brother Bill Shepard officiating. Jack (Pop) will be greatly missed by all of us who loved him. We thank our Lord for giving us such a beautiful, kindhearted man for the time he was with us.
