Mary E. Dicken, 84, Bloomington, died at 4:05 a.m. Tuesday (Jan. 10, 2012) at Heritage Health, Bloomington.
She was born March 15, 1927 in Clinton, Ky. to Delbert and Willie Shickles Wright. She married Fred B. Dicken on Sept. 9, 1946 in Jamestown, Tennessee. He died Nov. 22, 1986. She was also preceded in death by one son, Dan Dicken, and 13 brothers and sisters.
Survivors include five sons, Bill (Shari) Dicken, James Dicken and Glenn (Terri) Dicken, all of Bloomington; Jerry (Carla) Dicken, Hudson and Fred (Janny) Dicken, Normal; one daughter, Wanda Evans, Bloomington; 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Bobby Wright, Indiana, and Jackie Wright; two sisters, Clara (Daryl) Honaker and Sally (Junior) Maupin, both of Indiana and many nieces and nephews.
