James "Jamey" or JT Weatherly 27 of Breaux Bridge, La. died Thursday, Feb. 2,2006 at St. Martin Hospital in Breaux Bridge.
Funeral services were scheduled for 11 a.m. today at First Baptist Church of Breaux Bridge. Interment will be in St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge.
Jamey was born in Havre, Montana Aug. 16,1978. He spent most of his adult life in Breaux Bridge area. He was a jockey at Evangeline Downs Race Track, he had a real love for horses. He enjoyed Sunday, barbecues with his wife and kids, fishing and golfing.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Darla Weatherly Chagnon.
Survivors include his wife Josie Stokes Weatherly, sons Blaze Jeremiah Weatherly and Bailey James Weatherly, daughter Katherine Clair Weatherly all of Henderson, La., mother and step father Norma and Lonnie Cleveland of Rosepine, La., father and step mother James Ed Weatherly and Maureen of Havre, Montana, sisters Sherry (Tim) Snelson of Midland, Texas, and Kelly (Cliff) Harris of Reddick, Fla. brother Paul (Amy) Cleveland of Woodstock, Ga., and maternal grandmother Valdeen Watson of Rosepine, La.
