MRS. ARTHUR MOWERY
Mrs. Opal Mowery, 73, of 1916 Harrisonville Ave., died at 3 a.m. today at Scioto Memorial Hospital.
A native of Louisa, Ky., she was preceded in death by her first husband, Andrew Sweeney, and her second husband, Harry F. Asche.
Survivors include her third husband, Arthur; three sons, Donald Sweeney of Friendship State Rt. 125, Oliver Sweeney of Cincinnati, and Earl Sweeney of Xenia; two daughters, Mrs. Jessie Mae Mingus, 3162 Gallia St., and Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Heil of Cincinnati, two brothers, Henry Cornwell of Lucasville Rt. 2 and Arland Cornwell 4318 Rhodes Ave., New Boston; three sisters, Mrs. Fannie Brown, 2006 Harrisonville Ave., Mrs. Stella Wooten, 241 Norway Rd., and Mrs. Mary Ann Bush of Louisa, Ky.; 16 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services are to be 2 p.m. Monday at Emrick-Scott Funeral Home with Rev. Sydney Snyder officiating. Interment is to be in Memorial Burial Park.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 tonight and from 11 a.m to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday.
