Mary Jeanette "Jeannie" Zellers, 63, of Westminster, died Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2012, at Carroll Hospice's Dove House in Westminster.
Born April 13, 1948, in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Paul Joseph and Mary Jeanette Price Smith. She was the wife of Charles F. Zellers Jr.
She had worked as an assistant controller for All State Leasing in Owings Mills for 30 years. She enjoyed flower gardening, music and trips to Savannah, Ga., and Beuford, S.C.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are son and daughter-in-law Dennis Michael "Chip" Jr. and Jasmine McCuen, of Delaware; daughter and son-in-law Sherry E. and Robert Kalish, of Eldersburg; stepsons Charles S. Zellers, of Baltimore, and Joseph B. Zellers and wife Suna, of Westminster; stepdaughter Cindy R. Wieger and husband Fred, of South Dakota; brothers Vincent, Robert, Ronald and Joseph Smith, and Kenneth King; sisters Sharon Beyer and Kathleen Thrasher; grandchildren Drew and Hunter Kalish; step-grandchildren Elaine, Juliana, Virginia, and Olivia Zellers, and Jonathan and Lydia Wieger; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceaesd by siblings Mark J. Smith and Carol Sarchiapone.
