Sudden Death of Thacher Taylor
Thacher Taylor died very suddenly last Monday of heart failure.He went to work as usual on the Thacher estate,where he had been employed for several years,and was oon a load of wood with Mr T G Cook and Mr Warren E Montcalm when the attack came,and he fell to the ground and never regained consciousness .
Mr Taylor was the last of his family,two sisters having died some years ago.
He was janitor of the Congregational church and for many years worked at the wheelwright business.
He married Miss Mary J Ferguson,who with one daughter Phebe,survives him.His age was 52 years 9 months.
Funeral services were held from his late home Wednesday afternoon,conducted by Rev Eugene E Colburn and Rev James Priestnal and were largely attended.
