MILLER - Samuel S. [ sic D.] Miller, of near Emma, LaGrange Co., Ind., was born Nov. 30, 1820; died March 17, 1900, aged 79 years, 3 months and 17 days. He leaves four sons and three daughters, besides a large circle of relatives and friends, to mourn the loss of one who was loved and respected by all who knew him; but they need not mourn as those who have no hope. We trust their loss is his eternal gain. Funeral was held on the 19th at the Townline meeting-house. Services were conducted by Bishop Jonathan Troyer and Pre. John Hostetler in German, and Pre. A.S. Cripe, of the Shore Mennonite church, in English, from Rev. 14:13.
