The second of twelve children born to Reverend Isaac & Keziah (Murphy) Barton, Jane married her first cousin Isaac Barton, son of her father's older brother David. Jane and Isaac married on 13 Sep 1798 in Jefferson Co TN. They had at least nine children, eight sons and one daughter.
