Markus Randall "Mark" Heinrich, 25, of Kewanee was pronounced dead at 1 pm Saturday, November 9, 2002, along with his fiance, Amber Renae Santine Spencer, in their Kewanee home. The couple was to be married on May 17, 2003.

He was born August 28, 1977, in Kewanee, to Randy and Debra Liggett Heinrich. Surviving are his father and stepmother, Randy and Pam Heinrich of Kewanee, his mother and stepfather, Debra and Steve Rigelwood of East Peoria; one sister, Amanda Heinrich of Kewanee, one brother Shawn Liggett of Bradford, one stepbrother, Eric Rigelwood of East Peoria; one stepsister, Stephanie Rigelwood of East Peoria; and his grandparents, Bill and Shirley Blake of Englewood, Florida.

He attended Black Hawk College East Campus from 1995 to 1997. He worked at Menards in Kewanee from 1994 to 1999, Caterpillar from 1999 to 2000 and at the hardware department at the Kewanee Wal-Mart Supercenter.

Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery.
