Beloved husband of Martha Ann Cagle Sneed whom he married on February 2nd or 12th, 1868 in Monroe County,Tennessee. They were the parents of Lettie, Sarah, James, Johanna, Robert Sherman, Zachariah Taylor , Matthew Henderson, Andrew Anderson, and Elijah Franklin.

Maternal Grandparents are,to date, unfortunately, unknown.

PLEASE NOTE: Although his birth year on his headstone is 1840, some of the census records indicate that he was born between 1846 and 1849. The fact that his parents were married in 1845 would help to substantiate this information.
