George Hubbell, 60, former Douglas resident, passed away on a ranch near Evanston last Friday. Mr. Hubbell was a Douglas resident for about sixteen years, leaving here about eight years ago for the western part of the state. He is survived by his widow of Douglas; two sons, Gordon of Douglas and Garwin of Scottsbluff; two daughters, Mrs. Harold Corbett of Sacramento, Calif., and Mrs. C. L. McConegal of Lincoln, Neb., and six grandchildren. (Information was obtained from his obituary in the Douglas Budget Dec. 20, 1945 and cemetery records.)
