HART, JERONE R. Jerone R. Hart, 64, of New Haven, passed away on Saturday, November 27, 2010 of cancer.

Retired industrial engineer; accredited judge of the American Philatelic Society; winner of many awards for collections of stamps, covers, and imprints from Aden, British India, Barbados, and the American Civil War period; avid NASCAR fan and former co-owner of a NASCAR "bush league" race team. Graduate of Plymouth St. College, University of New Hampshire, and University of Oxford (Ford Foundation Fellowship); associate fellow, Trumbull College of Yale University.

Survived by mother Elsie I. Hart of Farmington, NH; sister Sally I. (Rob) Riley of Milton, NH; niece Jennifer Riley of Cranston, RI; nephew Jamie (Anne) of Milton, NH; partner Bob Chiang of New Haven; and many friends.

Predeceased by longtime partner John Boswell of New Haven. Funeral services on Saturday, December 11, 11 AM, at Battell Chapel of Yale University, corner of Elm and College Streets, followed by interment at Grove St. Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations requested to Trumbull College Master's Fund, Yale University, or charity of your choice.
