She was a homemaker and member of Clear Springs Missionary Baptist Church.
Born in Russell County on Dec. 18, 1913, she was the daughter of Jane Allen Brown and Jim Brown, both of whom preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Elisha J. Weston, three daughters, Margaret Popplewell, Ruby Fox and Betty Lou Weston; one son, Jimmy L. Weston; and one son-in-law, Glendo Johnson.
Survivors include four sons and daughters-in-law, E.J. and Candace Weston of Underwood, Indiana, Ruel and Betty Brumley and Phillip and Kathy Weston, all of Jamestown, and Kenny and Rebecca Weston of Russell Springs; two daughters and one son-in-law, Ruthie Johnson of Cincinnati, and Pamela and Ricky Gasaway of Russell Springs; 19 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, October 12 at Bernard Funeral Chapel with Bro. Cleveland Johnson officiating. Special music was performed by Clear Springs Missionary Baptist Choir.
Her grandchildren served as pallbearers.
Interment was in Ridgecrest Cemetery.
