James D. Mulherin, 60 died early yesterday morning at his home 216 Scott Street following a stroke.

Mr. Mulherin lived in the Empire section of the city until 18 years ago when he moved to the East End. He was a member of Holy Savior Church.

Surviving are his wife, Bessie and these children Mrs. Michael Grivner, Mrs. Dennis O'Dea [sic] and Mrs. William Murray of this city. Francis, James Jr., Cornelius, Daniel, Mary and Elizabeth at home.

Two brothers, Daniel of Point Pleasant N. J. and Francis and a sister, Mrs. James Boran of Jersey City. He also leaves 20 grandchildren.

Many friends and relatives attended the funeral of James D. Mulherin held yesterday morning from the home, 216 Scott Street, East End. A high mass of requiem was celebrated in Holy Savior Church by Rev. J. J. McCabe. Rev. Thomas Gildea was seated in sanctuary.

Pallbearers were Joseph Williamson, Donald Lynch, John Lyons, John Smurl, John Flynn and Francis Flynn.

Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery. Hanover Township. Rev. Father Gildea pronounced final benediction.
