B.A., Vanderbilt University, 1948 (Magna Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa, Mortar Board), Master of Library Science, Peabody/Vanderbilt, 1975. Director, Jewish Federation Libraries/Annette Levy Ratkin Jewish Community Archives (1978-2010); Volunteer Archivist, Saint Thomas Hospital, Nashville since 1994. Volunteer Archivist, The Temple Archives, since 1978. Preceded in death by husband, Ralph Z. Levy, Sr., 1949-1976, and husband Rubin S. Ratkin, 1986-2010. Survived by three children: Ralph Z. Levy, Jr. (Randi), David W. Levy (Ellen), Gail Levy Seibold (Shawn). Six grandchildren: Risa Levy Hatcher (Chris), Joseph M. Levy, Marci D. Levy, Roni E. Levy, Ross Z. Levy, Amy L. Seibold. Stepchildren: Dr. Gary Ratkin (Marilyn), Merriessa Anton (Richard). Step grandchildren: Kim (David) Dieffenbacker, Stephani (David) Becker, Shirra (Brandon) Hanna, Lane Anton. Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, November 16, 2011, at The Temple, 5015 Harding Rd. Interment at Temple Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the Ralph Z.
