A.N. Spencer, one of the old pioneers of this county, and said to be founder of the town of Yukon, died of pneumonia, at his home in Kansas City last Thursday. L.N. Spencer, his brother, was with him during his last illness.

A.N. Spencer, who died the other day in Kansas City, was the founder of Yukon, in Canadian county. He was a railroad contractor and built a portion of the Choctaw road. He was a member of the territorial legislature in 1897.
