A.L. "Buster" Dorman, 70, of Carlsbad, N.M., died Saturday, January 10, in his residence.
Services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 13, in Denton-Funchess Funeral Home Chapel with Robert Ellis of Artesia, N.M., officiating. Burial was in Carlsbad Cemetery in Carlsbad, N.M. Arrangements were under the direction of Denton-Funchess Funeral Home.
Mr. Dorman was born November 16, 1933, in Bowie and moved to Andrews in 1963 where he worked in the oil fields. He was married to his wife Pat in 1980 and moved to Carlsbad where he worked in the oil fields and then started Buster's Pumping Service in 1989, retiring in 1994.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Michael Dorman.
Survivors include his wife, Pat Dorman; a son, Steve Dorman of Carlsbad; four daughters, Cathy Rouse of San Angelo, Sandy Gregory of Andrews, Cindy Rowlett of Lubbock, and Tawnya Goddard of Carlsbad; a brother, J.D. Dorman of Bowie; three sisters, Doris Southern of Andrews, Patsy Damron of Andrews, and Melba Gant of Longview; 10 grandchildren including David Gregory of Andrews and Kellie Gregory of Andrews; and five great-grandchildren.
