Armando B Gallegos of Cheyenne, WY passed away Jan 12, 2012 at the Davis Hospice Center in Cheyenne.
Mr Gallegos was born Jan 27, 1923, in San Luis, CO, a son of the late Bernabe and Isabella (Madrid) Gallegos.
Barney had been a resident of Cheyenne since 1960 and lived previously in Ft Collins. He worked in construction for a number of years, but also was a self-taught upholsterer and enjoyed teaching others how to upholster furniture. His other interests included playing the accordion and guitar, dancing, and spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Barney is survived by seven children, Dorothy Gallegos, Geraldine Gonzalez, Armando Gallegos, Jr, Dianna Cajavilca, Andy "Rusty" Gallegos, Joey Gallegos and Barbara Gallegos, all of Cheyenne; 18 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his loving wife, Clara (Rivera) Gallegos.
